HR Work from
Intention to Impact
For people decisions that require care, judgment, and follow-through

Many business owners, executive directors, and managers reach a point where people decisions start to feel unclear. Often, that uncertainty comes from caring deeply about doing the right thing — wanting to avoid harm, reduce frustration, and make decisions that are fair to the people involved and sound for the work itself.
All HR Guidance and Workplace Projects are grounded in Intentification® — an approach that pays attention to what’s driving an intention, how it turns into action, and the impact it creates.
This work often begins with understanding where things are today, clarifying what you want to change, and building a practical path forward that fits your organization and the humans in it.
By examining intention, action, and impact together, HR work becomes more aligned, defensible, and effective — supporting both accountability and care.
This approach shows up in two distinct but complementary ways — through HR Guidance, when a situation needs careful navigation in the moment, and through Workplace Projects, when there is an opportunity to intentionally shape how people work happens over time.
Both are designed to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and care.

HR Guidance might involve a performance concern, conflict, or a people decision that feels unclear. Using a coaching-style approach grounded in curiosity and inquiry, the focus is on helping you understand what’s happening, consider your options, and move forward with confidence and care.
HR Guidance Deliverables:

Data collection from people impacted by project via surveys and/or focus groups

Next Steps
Jodi, I'm glad to have gotten to know you and benefit from your coaching skills and wisdom. I don’t hesitate to give my witness that your coaching has helped me get past some obstacles that were weighing me down in my career. Your coaching was instrumental in helping me gain a new perspective and find the strength and hope that I needed to get to a higher ground when the floods start pouring in as they do every week at work. Thank you for taking the time to work with me!
I do want people to know how great an experience it is to work with, be coached, and just be able to talk to you. I have been drawn to your engaging, open, real, and enthusiastic personality since we met many years ago - it was this connection that led me to reach out to you for some coaching. I have been in a troubled place since my role has changed. I have wanted to quit so many times, but decided that I need to take a new approach to my job so that I could get some sense of joy out of it again. I signed up to coach with you unsure of an exact game plan but with an open mind. In our time together you helped me push past the crap, set some goals, accept my role in my work journey, and not give up on the things that are important to me.
